Darren graduated in 1979 from Ackley Geneva and is an Iowa boy through and through. Darren recently was featured in the June issue of Throttler Magazine for the extreme bagger he built.
You may know the name—his brother Danne owns the Hansell Ag and Repair shop in Hansell.
Darren built his bike starting in December 2007 with just an idea of what he wanted it to look like. It was completed August 6, 2008 and he’s racked up 7,000 miles on it since then. It’s made from steel, not fiberglass and rides like a dream.
